Book the Right Slot Length

You should expect supervised climbing time followed by time in our party rooms for 90 minutes to 2 hours. Check whether the venue hires out equipment and whether they include an instructor in the price of the party when you book.

What Guests Should Bring

Partygoers can turn up in comfortable clothes such as a t-shirt and trainers. It is best to avoid jewellery and long hair should be tied back. Climbing shoes are available for hire on the day of the party and need not be purchased in advance.

Arrive Early to Sort Waivers

Allow 15 minutes prior to your scheduled time for party members to arrive. Most venues require to have signed waivers for each participant prior to the session commencing and it takes time to process a large group of people at the door.

Age Groups and Supervision Ratios

Handling Non-Climbers and Nervous Guests

Before the party, tell your staff that there are likely to be nervous/non-climbers, and get the instructors to move the anxious ones onto the low bouldering walls or onto the easy auto-belay routes.

Arriving as a group at the start of your party booking and quickly introducing your party staff to the climbing instructor will set up your party for a great night.
