Only Fools and Horses, filmed in the City of Bristol.

Written by John Sullivan, the wonderfully funny Situation Comedy, Only Fools and Horses, starring David Jason, Nicholas Lyndhurst, Buster Merryfield, John Challis, Roger Lloyd Pack, Lennard Pearce, Gwyneth Strong and Tessa Peake-Jones was based in Peckham in London, but was actually filmed from 1988 in the City of Bristol. A Tower Block named “Whitemead House” was used to film the exterior scenes of Del Boy and Rodney’s Peckham apartment block, Nelson Mandela House.

Del Boy was notorious for dodgy dealings and stating, “This time next year we will be millionaires”! The television series was incredibly popular and in 2004 was voted best British SitCom and most families made a point of watching it together at the weekends.  If your television aerial didn’t receive a good, clear signal to watch Del Boy, Rodney, Uncle Albert, Cassandra and Raquel get up to their latest, hilarious shenanigans you were in big trouble. Luckily, professional companies like aerial-installations-bristol.co.uk who specialise in TV aerial installation Bristol would have sent qualified engineers speeding to your home, just like Del and Rodney, as Batman and Robin to replace and tune your new aerial for you.

Providing you with a no nonsense, no scheming quotation, they could fit and install your new aerial, usually on the same day. Don’t try and do the job yourself because just like the two unfortunate brothers you will end up in trouble and having to call in the experts to put right your bodged job in the end.
