The wonderful world of Physics

Physics is more important to our daily lives than you probably realise. It is a scientific field that helps to explain so much of the universe and world around us from subatomic particles right through to the gravity that we use to keep our household water systems flowing. It is also what helps Drainage Cleaning companies to clear out the pipe systems in our homes and streets.

Without physics, it would be difficult to send electricity from one location to another which means that physics is responsible for enabling us to use computers, televisions, and almost all the things that we use on a daily basis. It would be difficult to know how to keep cars and planes going and stay up in the air, or how to build structures, without a knowledge of physics.

Physics enables the use of X-rays and ultrasounds by physicians and medical professionals, which is important when diagnosing a patient’s condition or helping a woman give birth. Physics also allows us to use lasers, in construction fields and for medical procedures such as laser eye surgery. Without physics, knowing how energy moves would be difficult and it would be impossible to safely send energy from one point to another. It is also thought to be one of the building blocks of life as we know it and scientists and theoretical physicists around the world are pushing our knowledge of physics to even greater levels of understanding and use.
